Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your Soclo account inside the app. If you no longer have the app, you can request deletion from this website by email. You do not need to reinstall Soclo.

Delete inside the app

1. Open Settings → Privacy → Delete my account.
2. Read the deletion summary and type DELETE to confirm.
3. Soclo removes the live account and begins the related data-deletion process.

Delete without the app

Email [email protected] from the address used for the account. State that you want the Soclo account permanently deleted. We verify the request and complete it within one calendar month, normally sooner.

What deletion covers

Deletion removes or anonymises the account, business and brand profile, connected-account tokens, content and projects, website data, supported customer information, analytics and settings from live systems, subject to the exceptions below.

Soclo Pages remains an owner-only preview. Account deletion covers the associated preview website data; public website renewal, suspension and domain-release rules are not active and will be shown before public activation opens. Any registered custom domain remains subject to its registrar’s registration and expiry rules.

What may be retained

Encrypted backup copies are purged within 30 days. Limited payment, tax, fraud, safety, consent or legal-claim records can be retained where law or a legal hold requires. Real-person likeness consent evidence is retained only under the launch policy and periods explained in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Deleting an account does not always cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel a store subscription in that store’s account settings as well. This does not remove any mandatory refund or consumer rights.

Before deleting

You can ask for access, correction or a portable copy before deletion by emailing [email protected]. A person who only wants Soclo to remove content using their likeness can use the public content report route without deleting the customer’s account.
