Website migrationPlanned migration service · the source platform decides what can be imported

Leave the platform.
Keep the business.

Planned for the controlled Soclo Pages rollout: privately rebuild a Wix or other business website, choose keep or improve, preserve URLs and switch the domain deliberately.

Your existing website stays live while Soclo prepares the replacement. Nothing moves until you approve it.

What it gives you

Less tool management.
More useful work finished.

01

Keep it familiar

Rebuild the site around the current structure and visual identity without carrying over platform frustration.

02

Improve what you have

Protect what customers recognise while correcting weak messaging, layout and conversion paths.

03

Start fresh

Use the existing business knowledge but take a completely new creative direction.

04

Protect continuity

Plan redirects, page metadata, business email and domain timing before the public switch.

How it works

A clear path from idea to result.

You do not need to learn a new operating system for your business. Soclo asks for the information needed for the next useful step.

  1. 1

    Import the source

Provide the current address and the access or exports the existing platform supports.

  2. 2

    Choose the intent

Keep it familiar, improve it, or give Soclo permission to create something new.

  3. 3

    Review privately

Compare the replacement with the live site while customers continue using the old one.

  4. 4

    Switch on approval

Move the domain and redirects only after the owner taps the first launch.

Why it is different

Migration should feel like an upgrade, not a hostage negotiation.

Businesses often stay with a frustrating website platform because changing feels riskier than coping with it. Soclo’s migration experience is designed to separate rebuilding from switching. The replacement can be prepared privately while the current website continues to serve customers.

A good migration is not a screenshot copy. It protects the useful parts: URLs people already visit, search metadata, business email, familiar navigation and any content the owner wants to keep. Then it improves the weak parts deliberately instead of introducing accidental change.

What can be imported depends on the existing platform and the access it allows. Soclo makes that limit visible before promising a seamless path. Where a direct takeover is not possible, the alternative is a managed rebuild on Soclo with a planned domain move.

Questions

What businesses ask first.

Can Soclo take over my Wix website?

The goal is to rebuild or migrate it based on the access and export options Wix makes available. You choose whether the result stays familiar, improves the current approach or starts fresh.

Will the old website go offline during the rebuild?

No. The old website stays live until the replacement is ready and the owner approves the switch.

What happens to search traffic?

The migration plan preserves important URLs and metadata and adds redirects where paths change. Search engines still decide rankings; Soclo does not promise that a move cannot affect them.
